Wooden furniture with history
Some write books to tell stories - we build furniture. Our furniture manufactory only uses used spruce wood that has been in use for years and has already had to withstand wind and weather.
Our exclusive Lounge, patio and restaurant furniture tell their stories in the garden, on the terrace or balcony as well as in bars and cafés, proudly displaying small scars and showing off their "bruises".
We do not use tropical wood!
We have made a conscious decision not to use tropical wood! Overexploitation for furniture made from tropical wood, such as mahogany, teak or rosewood, is a very sad chapter in our history and present.
Through the ruthless deforestation of subtropical and tropical forests in Africa, Latin America and Asia, sensitive, valuable and important ecosystems are disappearing year after year - along with thousands of animal and plant species.
WITTEKIND uses only local, used and long-weathered spruce wood for its fine Lounge, patio, restaurant and garden furniture. This means that no tree is felled for our production!
For this reason, we speak with a clear conscience about sustainable furniture with an excellent CO2 balance. We give the raw material wood a new, meaningful purpose.

Managing Director
As Managing Director of Keller & Wehbrink Möbelteile GmbH, Thorsten Keller produces plinth panels for the kitchen furniture industry. Together with his business partner Andreas Wehbrink, he employs around 40 people in wood processing and coordinates the construction of the furniture at WITTEKIND .

In his company Westaro Möbel Wählen GmbH & Co. KG, Christian Wählen has been developing and selling high-quality and individually configurable office chairs for three generations. It is therefore clear that he is our professional in the field of high-quality upholstery. Special embroidered or printed finishes are his daily business.

With his agency Thoxan Communications GmbH, Thomas Kilian specializes in customer acquisition on the Internet. He mainly advises B2B companies from the IT, industrial, medical technology and furniture sectors throughout Germany. At WITTEKIND , he and his team take care of the website and online marketing.

Production
Even if "dad" Peter Keller had already earned his retirement, he still supports the WITTEKIND team in the construction of the rustic wooden furniture. As the "go-to guy", he always lends a hand and always has good ideas when it comes to developing and expanding the range.
