How the WITTEKIND delivery works

Guidelines for delivery to our customers

When you choose furniture from WITTEKIND , you can look forward to a personal and smooth delivery:

Production to order

Your pieces of furniture are individually manufactured in our factory after the order is received. The delivery time is usually 5 to 6 weeks. In the high season (spring / summer) there may be longer waiting times.

Making an appointment

Our WITTEKIND team will coordinate an initial delivery date for the furniture. Our contracted forwarding agent will then get in touch with you to make specific arrangements. As a rule, you will also be notified by telephone shortly before delivery so that you can prepare well for the arrival of the furniture.

Delivery by contracted forwarding agent

Delivery is carried out by a forwarding agent commissioned by us. Our WITTEKIND furniture is delivered fully assembled - ready for immediate use, without assembly. The only exception is our Lounge corner sofa, which is delivered in two parts and must be screwed together at the point of use.

Packaging & transportation

Shipping is usually carried out on disposable pallets, with a packaging concept that is as resource-friendly as possible. To avoid unnecessary waste, your furniture is packed minimally but securely.

Delivery free kerbside

Delivery is free kerbside, i.e. to the first lockable door (e.g. yard gate or house entrance). Further transportation on the property to the place of use is your responsibility.

Important notes on delivery

To ensure that everything runs smoothly during delivery, please note the following points:

Check the furniture immediately upon delivery - in the presence of the driver - for possible transport damage. Please look for clear scratches, dents or damage to the upholstery.

Delivery conditions within Germany

(except German islands)

Your WITTEKIND furniture will be individually manufactured and, if necessary, finished for you. We usually need several weeks for this process after receiving the deposit, depending on the order volume and order situation. We will then contact you to arrange an appointment for delivery.
Based on your order, we will calculate the loading space meters required for the delivery of your WITTEKIND furniture and send you a concrete offer for the furniture and its shipping. From a value of goods of 6,000 euros, we deliver the furniture free of shipping costs within Germany.
Upon completion of your furniture and upholstery, the second half of the purchase price and the shipping costs are due by bank transfer. At this point, you will receive your invoice by e-mail with a request for final payment. Once the outstanding amount has been credited to our account, we will contact you to arrange an appointment for delivery.
Please note that our furniture is already fully assembled on delivery and that delivery is "to kerbside". Only the WITTEKIND corner sofa and the U-shaped XXL lounge sofa are delivered in two or three parts. As the truck is only manned by one driver, you will need helpers to move the furniture into place, depending on the quantity and size of the furniture delivered.

Delivery conditions to the German islands

For deliveries to German islands, additional costs may be incurred in the form of island surcharges from the shipping company.

Delivery conditions abroad

Delivery to German-speaking countries involves additional costs and certain restrictions in the choice of delivery location. We will be happy to discuss the details with you and calculate the shipping costs for the WITTEKIND furniture you have ordered.
From a goods value of 6,000 euros, we will pay the pro rata shipping costs within Germany, so that you only pay the pro rata delivery costs from the German border.
