How to protect your furniture
The weathered wood is additionally treated with wax oil, which emphasizes the rustic-elegant impression and protects the wood from the effects of the weather. Nevertheless, the appearance will change over the years due to weathering, which for many is precisely what makes this furniture so charming.
You can slow down this ageing process somewhat by placing your WITTEKIND furniture in a dry place or protecting it with a cover in winter and during long periods of wetness.
Cleaning the wooden parts
The wooden surfaces should be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Avoid using harsh cleaning agents.
You should also not clean the furniture with a high-pressure cleaner, as this will break up the surface structure and damage the wooden surface.
Washing option for upholstery fabrics
The upholstery fabrics are very easy to wash and can also be machine washed. Simply pull the zipper off the foam upholstery and, with a little skill, pull it back on after washing.
You will receive instructions for removing and fitting the upholstery together with your WITTEKIND furniture.
