All of WITTEKIND 's furniture is designed for outdoor professionals who enjoy spending time outdoors all year round. So you don't need to worry about the weather conditions to which your bench is exposed. The well-weathered spruce wood protects itself with its own patina. In addition, we treat the cut edges of the wood with a water blocker and apply a special wax oil to the wood, which emphasizes the weathered look of the furniture.

If you want to optimally protect your special WITTEKIND furniture and upholstery from dirt such as bird droppings, leaves or verdigris, then order a specially adapted protective cover, which is available for all furniture in our series.

We want you to be able to use our furniture as quickly as possible and without much effort. That's why even larger pieces of furniture (with the exception of the corner Lounge sofa and the U-shaped XXL Lounge Sofa , which require larger components to be screwed together) are already fully assembled on delivery.

Please note that the delivery is made "without unloading", as the forwarding company's truck is only manned by one driver. It is therefore advisable - depending on the quantity and size of the furniture delivered - to organize additional helpers for the day of delivery. This makes unloading on site child's play. For example, we recommend at least four helpers for unloading and moving the cornerLounge sofa. The small "Diva", on the other hand, should be easy for one or two people to unload and carry to the desired location.

Of course, we can only answer this question very subjectively - it's in the nature of things. If you were to ask another manufacturer of garden furniture, the answer would certainly be expensive precious or tropical wood such as mahogany, teak or rosewood.

WITTEKIND is strictly against the use of tropical and subtropical woods from Asia, Africa or Latin America, as this is always associated with the destruction or impairment of valuable and sensitive ecosystems with thousands of different animal and plant species. This is why we only use local and long-worn spruce wood in the production of the exclusive furniture from the WITTEKIND Lounge, patio and gastro series. This used wood has its very own charm and character and was not felled especially for our production.

For this reason, we naturally consider our weathered spruce wood to be the most suitable material for patio furniture.

All WITTEKIND furniture from the patio furniture series is perfectly coordinated and designed for each other. We therefore recommend combining the 3-seater bench with the dining table 6+2 or the fire table (large). The design and dimensions are in elegant harmony here, so you can invite people to your next barbecue or coffee party.
