All cover hoods with filter option
You can filter the various covers using the lounge furniture, patio furniture, Restaurant furniture and accessories categories. The order corresponds to the menu on our website. Alternatively, you can find the matching covers on each individual product page.
Select individual hoods for the watch list or let us know in your inquiry if you would like to order the right protection for all your favorite pieces.
Alternative tarpaulin material
If you can still see a light gray cover in photos in an older catalog or in a reference project, this was manufactured before 2020. We changed manufacturers at that time and added an equally high-quality alternative made of spun-dyed polyester to our range. This is PU-coated, water and dirt-repellent, particularly tear-resistant and only available in a dark grey color (and therefore different from some of the photos shown here).
Easy handling and cleaning of the protective covers
The tarpaulin material is particularly light, yet stable, tear-resistant, lightfast and UV-resistant. It is a waterproof material that still breathes: it allows air and moisture to pass through from the bottom to the top.
Just right for the WITTEKIND furniture - simply slip the matching cover over the furniture and it will survive the cold and damp season outside on the patio or in the garden undamaged.
The protective covers are individually made to measure for each piece of furniture and are not too tight, but not too loose either. In summer, you can also leave the cushions under the cover.
You should only bring the upholstery indoors during a prolonged wet period or in winter and protect the pure wooden furniture with a suitable cover to prevent the temperature falling below the dew point and thus the possible formation of mildew stains.

The tarpaulin material we use for the covers is particularly lightweight, yet robust, UV-resistant and lightfast. It is a waterproof material that still breathes: it allows air and moisture to pass through from the bottom to the top. The soft reverse side covers even sensitive wooden surfaces without damaging them.
Please note that in heavy rain, some water may seep through the material at the seams despite the best possible workmanship. However, as the breathable material allows moisture to pass through from the bottom to the top, waterlogging is prevented.
Our covers are made of high-quality tarpaulin material. We only sell them tailor-made and exclusively for the furniture we produce.
In the winter months, you should always bring the cushions into the dry separately and not leave them under the hood to prevent moisture damage.
In the summer months, you can pull the cover over the furniture and upholstery during longer periods of wet weather. Please note, however, that in heavy rain, water can seep through the material at the seams. However, as the breathable material allows moisture to pass through from the bottom to the top, waterlogging is prevented.
It is not unusual for the cushions to become damp after particularly heavy rain, even though the cover was on. It is best to place the cushions upright in the sun so that they are quickly ready for use again!
