Open wooden shelving for product presentation
At Landpartie 2017, we equipped an exhibitor of high-quality felt products with an open wooden shelf and a sales counter. The debris with five shelves two meters long and 40 centimetres deep showed off the wool felt treasures to their best advantage.
The counter, which was open at the back, also had an integrated shelf on which advertising material, cash book and smaller items could be stored. The height of the counter, which was adapted to our bar tables, was ideal for handling sales and payment.

Individual "workstation" with cooling options for preparing delicious cocktails or small snacks: this solution was created in collaboration between WITTEKIND and a customer.
The bar counter offers a work surface, storage space and the opportunity to integrate cooling units and can be used flexibly in the conservatory or outside. The individual lighting on the bar allows guests to enjoy cocktails even at dusk.
Outdoor kitchen with grill, cooling and dishwashing module
At the Landpartie Schloss Bückeburg this modular outdoor kitchen celebrated its exclusive premiere in June 2019. Numerous guests were amazed by the combination of barbecue, cooling and dishwashing modules that we had put together to create an impressive outdoor kitchen in the princely palace park.
But despite all the joy about the innovation, it soon became clear that the "Trümmer" could not be included in the official WITTEKIND product range. Weighing over 250 kilograms, it is too heavy to transport and assemble. Especially as the price price tag in the five-figure range makes this luxury item only attractive to special WITTEKIND enthusiasts anyway.
We are happy to present the outdoor kitchen as an example of the individual custom-made products from our furniture manufactory. Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to "order" this product.

WITTEKIND Order wooden furniture in your desired size
Of course, at WITTEKIND you can not only obtain complete custom-made products for your furniture dreams, but it is also possible to customize our furniture from our range(within certain framework conditions) to individual desired dimensions. This always makes sense, for example, if your patio or garden have special dimensions.
For example, some customers need a special size for their dining table, others want the footstool at a different height than the Sofa or would prefer their patio table to have a pedestal base rather than four legs (as can be seen with the large fire table in this reference ).
Nina Lange will be happy to advise you personally on the general feasibility, requirements and costs of customizing your WITTEKIND furniture. For larger projects, especially in the commercial sector, we recommend our free consultation.
You must note the following with regard to desired dimensions
The wooden boards we use are always around three centimetres thick and just under 20 centimetres wide. We can usually shorten the length as required. For visual and structural reasons, we do not cut the boards lengthwise.
It is therefore possible to adjust the length of a table or bench according to individual requirements. The corner sofa, for example, can also be extended or shortened by one seat width.
However, it is not possible to reduce the depth of our lounge furniture by ten centimetres. Visible boards would have to be split lengthwise, which - as already mentioned - we cannot do for visual and structural reasons.
Garden furniture with a unique look
WITTEKIND is a furniture manufacturer from Ostwestfalen-Lippe. The name is derived from the Old Saxon "Widukind", which means wood or forest child. The extravagant Lounge and garden furniture line impresses with its modern, contemporary and trendy design and its infinite comfort.
FAQFrequently asked questions and answers about custom-made products
We deliver all our furniture with a forwarding agent. We commission them as soon as your custom-made product has been completed. As we make each piece individually to order, the delivery time depends primarily on the order volume and the existing order situation.
All the boards we use have a thickness of approx. 3 cm and are between 19.5 and 19.9 cm wide. If you need a counter that is one meter wide, for example, we would use five boards on edge for the front.
Some of the boards are slightly curved, although we naturally use boards that are as straight as possible for table surfaces. The length of the boards can be shortened individually.
It is best to send us a rough sketch, which you are welcome to draw by hand. All dimensions should be noted on it. In any case, it makes sense to have a preliminary discussion in which you can explain your ideas to us and we can discuss with you what is feasible in terms of design.
Of course, a custom-made product requires its very own intensive planning and production phase. In an initial meeting, we determine what is basically feasible. We then draw up an individual cost plan and send you a non-binding offer for your custom-made product.
This is mainly due to the wood's own protection caused by the weather and the treatment with wax oil as well as the cut edges with a nano moisture blocker. All furniture from WITTEKIND can easily withstand rain and is fitted with 5 mm thick plastic glides.
For the winter, we recommend our practical cover hoods, which we may also have to customize for your special design. To protect your furniture, you can also use the covers in summer during longer wet periods.
